Is Your Business Fully Prepared for Growth?
There are few if any businesses that would NOT be able to show significant growth from a purely 'Technical' standpoint. However there needs to be a culture within any business that embraces the values needed to sustain and cement that growth and the benefits that goes with it.
Any business, with the right help can generate more sales leads, convert more of these leads to actual sales and improve the profits they generate from each customer. This is the easy bit.However before we can get you there, there is a whole process of preparing the culture within the business that is going to be needed to sustain these activities and make business growth a habit.
You need to be thinking about your:
Vision statement. Where do you see the business in 1, 2, 5 years?
Mission statement: Exactly how are you planning to get there?
Value Statement: Why should your customers buy from you?
So many business miss these vital steps. In the Nineties things like mission statements were paid lip service as some touchy feely management speak along side things like:
"stake in the ground"
"Take the Hill"
and my personal favourite "Shoot for the stars you may get the moon"
Now what we all missed back then and most still do today is that to function properly an organisation needs a clear statement and picture of where it is going. It also needs a clear statement and picture of how it will get there. I use the word 'Picture' quite deliberately as it is vital that the end results can be visualised and made almost real.
Once we have these two pieces of the puzzle in place we come to the all important value statement. Don't worry if you struggle with this initially. Very few business owners and senior execs can answer this with any clarity or conviction, but answer it they, and you, must.
With this information set in the minds of all in your organisation and with it communicated to your prospects
via effective marketing you are on your way to massive profit growth.
