Well in fact the Best time to set up a business is ALWAYS NOW
Many people in business today only got started when something happened to force their hand.
Redundancy or some crisis which made them realise they just had to do it.
If you ask most people they would say that they felt that being self employed is a huge risk and they
couldn't do it. However if we look at this closely its clear that the reverse si actually true. Now this doesn't mean that businesses don't fail, many indeed most do but because of poor management and poor advice.
Lets look at the situation of being employed.
- No freedom do do what you want
- No control over where the business is going
- You are exchanging your time for money ( limited income )
- You can be dropped at any time leaving you with nothing
Now lets see how this compares with working for yourself
- Freedom to take the business in whichever direction you choose
- Free to do what you want when you want
- You could be exchanging time for money initially but moving toward exchanging knowledge and experience which are duplicateable
- You will haev a good view of what is around the corner and be able to react and plan.
- You won't be suprised by the sack when you walk in the door
I know which one I'd rather be experiencing. So if you've got a talent or skill you beleive is valuable and want to get more from your life think about how you could tunr this into a business and get planning
